Advanced Medical Sales, Inc. (AMS) is a privately owned specialty pharmaceutical distributor with a sales and marketing emphasis in plasma derivatives, acute care pharmaceuticals and unique products for onsite drug testing. Established in 1993 by James H. Roache, PharmD, AMS is a close-knit, family run business with second generation leadership.
Mike J. Roache, a third generation wholesaler, succeeded his father earlier this year as President and CEO although James continues to play an active role. AMS has experienced phenomenal growth through it’s commitment to providing products and services quickly, safely and dependably. We are 100% pedigree compliant and maintain a flawless reputation with all state boards of pharmacy.
AMS relies on its unparalleled customer service to distribute its products nationwide to a broad customer base including: hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, surgery centers, and physician groups. Our team specializes in the procurement and distribution of products in short supply through our vast array of suppliers.
Spanning over 37 years, Dr. James Roache has experienced a fulfilling career in many aspects of the pharmaceutical industry. Due to his vast experience beginning as a clinical pharmacist and hospital pharmacy administrator to owning and operating a home infusion service, he understands the unique problems that his fellow pharmacists face on a day to day basis.
